The backrest shell is made of moulded polyurethane foam with light padding in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat is made of seasoned beech with polyurethane foam padding, pressed felt, and elastic webbing for springing. The seat cushions are in goose down with a stabilizing polyurethane foam insert to reduce sinking while maintaining comfort. The four support legs are in solid ash. The Nivola sofa is fully upholstered in Pelle Frau® or in the option combining multiple materials.
